Florida Manatee

Florida manatees (Trichechus manatus latirostris) range throughout Florida waters and individuals can move long distances seasonally. Issues endangering manatees include death from human-related and natural causes and habitat loss.
Report a distressed or dead manatee.

FWC Facts:
Horseshoe crabs are not crabs. They are in a class by themselves and are more closely related to spiders, scorpions and ticks.
