Special Opportunity Fall Hunt Permit

General Information

A Special-Opportunity Fall Permit is a type of limited entry permit that is required in order to participate in some archery and general gun deer, hog and released quail hunts (bring your own birds) on select Wildlife Management Areas Not a Mobile-Enabled Link. Click "Application Worksheet" at the bottom of this page for specific Wildlife Management Areas and dates.
These special-opportunity hunts make available large areas with lots of game and low hunter quotas and provide excellent opportunities to bag trophy deer.  Hunters looking for a truly “special” hunt with a high chance of seeing and bagging game should look no further.

Please note: The FWC is constructing a new shooting range on a small portion of Triple-N Ranch WMA. While this WMA will continue to offer excellent hunting opportunities, there may be some noise associated with construction and operation of the new facility. The range will be located on the southern portion of the property. Please be advised of this, when planning your hunt.
